The Ice Cream Factory Collab is a collaborative space for Brisbane-based creative freelancers and small agencies, in a heritage listed factory on West End's best corner.
The name "The Ice Cream Factory" comes from the building's history as the original Peters Ice Cream factory.
The building was originally built in the 1920s and is heritage listed. Being an old factory, the space has very high ceilings (4m+), concrete floors and a very "character" feel with lots of natural light.
We share the second floor with various other creatives and even a bar. There are shared facilities such as a kitchen, bathroom (with showers) and a large deck.
Literally on West End's best corner, directly behind the Gunshop Cafe and across the road from Coles and the Three Monkey's Cafe.
Downstairs is the Motor Room (a live music venue) and Boundary St Markets (pictured), with numerous cafes and bars within 100m of the building.
We also fall within the Hub4101 creative/tech precinct.
Parking is free for 2hrs across the road at Coles. We also have the option to rent car parks at $110/month (inc GST), which is well below the market rate for West End.
